| Duration |
14 Nights / 15 Days |
Day 01 Delhi
A warm traditional Indian welcome awaits your arrival at the
International Airport at Delhi where our reception team will receive you
and arrange for your transfer to the hotel. After dinner you'll retire to
the hotel room for your rest and should you have any queries or doubts,
our team will be there to sort them out.
Day 02 Delhi
Start your day with a good breakfast for you have to start your day at
Delhi, the city that has almost continuously been the seat of power for a
long time. Delhi basically consists of two parts, Old and New Delhi. The
Old Delhi has narrow streets and busy markets whereas the New Delhi
conveys the image of a planned city. The prime attractions of Old Delhi
are the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid etc. The New Delhi has superb
government buildings designed by Lutyens such as India Gate, President's
House, along with Lotus Temple, Birla Temple etc. Finish your day with a
sumptuous dinner as you prepare to call it a day at your hotel in Delhi.
Day 03 Delhi - Mandawa
Have
a hearty breakfast and drive to Mandawa in the morning itself as that is
the most convenient time to undertake a drive. You'll be visiting Jhunjhnu
en route which is the largest town of district of Shekhawati in Rajasthan.
The place has many beautiful mansions and monuments such as Khatri Mahal,
Sri Bihariji Temple, Mertano Baori etc. In the afternoon, visit Mandawa
market and mansions. You'll stay for the night at Mandawa.
Day 04 Mandawa - Bikaner
Have a light breakfast as you have to take a walking tour of Mandawa so
that you can see the life and monuments of this place from close quarters.
Afterwards we'll set off for our next destination Bikaner. Check into the
hotel after reaching Bikaner and have some rest. Afterwards it's up to you
to decide what to do with the rest of the day. Wander through the markets
of the city or simply laze around in the hotel bed so that you can
recharge your body. Your overnight has been scheduled at the hotel in
Bikaner itself.
Day 05 Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Once again we plan to tour the city of Bikaner after the breakfast so
keep it in the mind while you are having it. The popular monuments of
Bikaner among the tourists are the Bikaner Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Karni
Mata Temple etc. After visiting these Bikaner attractions, we'll head
towards our next destination which is Jaisalmer. We'll be visiting the
Pokhran Fort en route which is in Pokhran,a thinly populated area. Other
attractions of Pokhran are Pokhran Museum, the Palaces, Ramdeo Temple and
the Chhatris. Check in at the hotel after your arrival at Jaisalmer. The
evening is at your leisure, you can choose to simply rest or wander
through the narrow lanes of the city. You'll stay at the hotel in
Jaisalmer for the night.
Day 06 Jaisalmer
After having your breakfast, we start the sight seeing tour of this city
right in the morning itself. Jaisalmer is a city located so remotely that
it has remained virtually untouched by external influences and because of
it you get to experience a Jaisalmer that has come through from another
time zone. We'll visit the Jaisalmer Fort which encompasses an entire
township within itself with all those narrow lanes and beautiful mansions.
Other Jaisalmer attractions are Manak Chowk and mansions, Gadsisar Lake,
Tazia Tower, various beautiful mansions and Jain Temples dedicated to
three Jain Tirthankars. We'll embark upon an excursion in the afternoon to
visit the Sam sand dunes and enjoy the camel safari thereafter. Since this
has been a hectic day, we'll now return to hotel in Jaisalmer for our
dinner and for that much needed nestled-in-the-bed feeling. So ... good
night.
Day 07 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Have
an opulent breakfast in the morning as we have to head towards Jodhpur
which is 298 km away from Jaisalmer. It's a long journey and that's why
we'll also visit Mandore en route which will serve two fold purpose -
sightseeing as well as that of a break. See the Ajit pole here that was
built to commemorate the victory of Ajit Singh over the Mughals. Other
attractions at Mandore are Government Museum, Hall of Heroes, Mandore
Garden etc. We continue on our way towards Jodhpur. Check in at the hotel
here and feel free in the evening to either explore the city or just rest
in your hotel room. Your overnight stay has been scheduled at the hotel in
Jodhpur itself.
Day 08 Jodhpur
As the sun rays in Jodhpur say good morning to you, you are getting fresh
and we are preparing to dish up your breakfast. Now you are ready for the
city of Jodhpur which has attractions galore such as the majestic
Mehrangarh Fort (it offers panoramic views of the city), Jaswant Thada
(it's a white marble cenotaph) and Umaid Bhawan Palace etc. In the evening
we'll take you for a village safari in a jeep. Jodhpur is pleased to host
you for another night stay here.
Day 09 Jodhpur - Udaipur
After the mandatory breakfast, we'll leave for Udaipur in the morning
which is 259 km away and takes about 7 hrs time. But since we'll be taking
a break en route and visiting Rohetgarh, it's likely to take more time.
The purpose for stopping here is to show you the splendid Rohetgarh Fort
and a Bishnoi Village. The Bishnoi community is known all around for its
efforts to protect the nature and natural beings. We continue towards
Udaipur where the evening is at your disposal after checking in at the
hotel. You'll stay at the hotel in Udaipur for the night.
Day 10 Udaipur
The wheel of our tour is moving forward as today we gear up to tour
around in the city of Udaipur, which for some reason is called the most
romantic city of India. But, as always, the sightseeing tour will not take
off before you have your breakfast. Today we are all set to start the day
with a boat ride at the Lake Pichola as the mornings are the best time to
experience the serene waters of the lake. Now we visit the Jagdish Temple,
Jag Mandir, City Palace and Museum, Saheliyon ki Bari and other
attractions of the city. You'll be served with a sumptuous dinner in the
night just before you retire to your bed in the hotel as your night stay
is scheduled in this city itself.
Day 11 Udaipur - Pushkar
After
you've had your breakfast, we'll head towards Pushkar, visiting many
destinations en route. These places are Elkingi, which is a temple complex
and Nagda, whch is a group of Jain temples. After your arrival in Pushkar,
you check in at the hotel and retire to your room in the hotel for your
night stay.
Day 12 Pushkar -Jaipur
As the day breaks in the holy city of Pushkar, we are prepared to serve
you the breakfast as you'll be free afterwards to explore one of the dhams
(pilgrimage destinations) on your own. The place is attractive to both
domestic as well as foreign tourists because of its temples and annual
cattle fair. See the Brahma temple, Pushkar lake and the ghats for their
sheer charm. You'll be taken to nearby Ajmer which is famous for the tomb
of a Sufi Saint and afterwards we'll continue our drive towards our

elephant back like a king. In the afternoon we'll visit the city
attractions such as the Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and we'll
also arrange for you an overview of the Pink City. After having dinner,
you'll retire to rest for the night at the hotel in Jaipur.

take you to the Taj Mahal to show you the sunrise there. We'll come back
to the hotel for our breakfast and then we'll drive towards Delhi. You'll
be transferred to the international airport and helped along on your way
back to your onward journeys. We'd love to be with you again ... perhaps
for a tour to some other destinations. See you.
