Jagdish Temple
The
temple was built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh in Indo-Aryan style.
The temple is among the largest and the most beautiful temple of
Udaipur. It is famous for sculpted images.
Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir
The excellent museum of folk arts has the interesting collection
including folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical
instruments, folk deities and paintings. The museum also organizes
interesting puppet shows in its auditorium.
Sajjangarh Fort
The Summer Resort or the Monsoon Palace of the Maharajas, is situated
atop the hill overlooking all the lakes. The Fort offers a
breathtaking view of the surrounding lakes and palaces.

Fateh Sagar Lake
The picturesque lake is surrounded by hills on the three sides and
the Pratap Memorial on one side was built by Maharana Fateh Singh.
Pichhola Lake
The beautiful lake is overlooked by hills, palaces,temples, bathing
ghats and embankments. Two island palaces Jag Mandir and Jag
Niwas(Lake Palace) on the lake are major attractions.
Attractions near Udaipur
Nagda
The place located at a distance of 23 Kms from Udaipur is known for
Sas Bahu Temples of 9th-10th century A.D. Along with the impressive
architecture and carvings of Sas Bahu temples, the Jain Temples of
Adbudji are equally important.
Haldighati
Situated at a distance of 40 Kms from Udaipur, Haldighati is a
historical site. Here the great battle was fought between Maharan
Pratap and Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1576.
Kumbhalgarh Fort
The fort built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha of Mewar lies 64
Kms away from Udaipur. The fort extends over 12 Kms and houses many
palaces, temples and gardens. Over 360 temple stand inside the fort
complex. The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is close to the fort.

Ranakpur
The village located at a distance of 90 Kms from Udaipur, is home to
one of the most important Jain Temples. The main Chaumukha Temple
which is dedicated to the tirthankara Adinath has 29 halls supported
by distinctly carved 1444 marble pillars.
Jaisamand Lake
Situated
48 Kms away from Udaipur this is an artificial lake, built by Maharana
Jai Singh in the 17th century A.D. It lake is flanked on the either
side by graceful marble chhatris and beautiful summer palaces of the
Udaipur queens.

Udaipur is well connected to all the major cities by Air, Rail and
Roads.
By Air : The Airlines operates flights for cities
like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Jodhpur.
By Rail : Udaipur railway station is connected to
